Joanie Halfaker and her husband, Dave, will be joining the BridgePort Financial Solutions (BridgePort) team in 2024. Joanie is the founder and president of Clarity for Women, a comprehensive, fee-only financial services firm dedicated to helping divorcing, widowed, and professional women achieve financial clarity.
With almost 25 years of experience in financial services, Joanie previously owned Halfaker & Associates, CPAs with her husband. Her career includes roles as a controller and chief financial officer for several companies owned by The Home Shopping Network. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University.
Joanie has conducted educational workshops on financial divorce success strategies at The Centre for Women and has spoken on financial planning at Nova Southeastern University, AARP, Tampa Bay Enrolled Agents, and HRTampa, among other organizations. An active member of her community, Joanie has also served on the boards of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Toastmasters, RSL Youth Soccer Club, and Crown Financial Ministries.
